The Overview
PaveTech Consulting was commissioned to provide an assessment of a subterranean parking garage below a high-rise building and below the surface parking lot.
We were initially tasked with evaluating the structure in order to document the existing conditions and identify repair items that would help prolong the long-term performance while mitigating the ongoing water intrusion issues.
The owner had recently acquired the building (and subsequent parking structure) and wanted a clearer understanding of what was needed to maintain the safety & integrity of the structure and ensure their budgeted capital was being invested wisely.
